Welding electrodes are one of the basic types of welding materials intended for electric welders. An electric arc glows between the welded material and the electrode core covered with coating. During the welding process, the base material is mixed with the electrode core material to create a weld bead. The electrode coating creates a gas coverage around the arc and creates slag, which is intended to protect the weld pool and the solidifying metal.
