WEICON Urethane 85 SF is a special, two-component, pasty polyurethane used for covering and repairing rubber surfaces. Polyurethane can be used, for example, to repair conveyor belts in industrial plants, in opencast mining or in mines. Weicon Urethane 85 SF is characterized by very high abrasion resistance. It contains no solvents and is processed at room temperature. Before application, the treated surface must be significantly roughened and then moistened with a special two-component primer (rubber primer), otherwise adhesion to the surface will not occur. Processing time is two to three minutes. No additional heating is necessary to harden. Surfaces treated with Weicon Urethane 85 SF are ready to be loaded after one hour. Full hardening occurs after three hours. A special primer is available for coating metal surfaces.
