Welding wire Lincoln LNM 304LSi - Ø1.2mm
The welding wire Lincoln LNM 304LSi is a solid wire with very low carbon content, type ER308LSi / G 19 9 LSi, designed for welding stainless steel CrNi LNM 304LSi. Due to the very low carbon content in the alloy, the risk of intergranular corrosion is reduced, eliminating the need for alloying additives to stabilize the metal structure. The increased silicon content ensures fluidity of the weld pool and wettability, resulting in smooth weld bead with a regular shape. This also translates into better weldability and appearance of the weld. The main applications of the wire include welding pipes, manufacturing steel sheets, tanks, and overlay welding. When welding with LNM 304LSi wire, it is recommended to use an Ar+ gas mixture in the range of 0.5% to 5% CO2 or 0.5% to 3% O2 as a shielding gas.
