Welding wire Lincoln LNM 318Si - Ø1.0mm

Welding wire Lincoln LNM 318Si has high corrosion resistance (including intergranular corrosion). The wire closest type is ER318 / G 19 12 3NbSi. Increased silicon content improves the fluidity of the weld pool, ensuring a smooth weld bead with a regular shape. Thanks to the presence of stabilizing alloying additives, the risk of intergranular corrosion caused by the precipitation of chromium carbides is reduced. The wire can be used, among others, for the production of pipes, plates, and tanks. When welding with LNM 318Si wire, it is recommended to use a shielding gas mixture containing argon in the amount of 0.5% to 5% CO₂ or 0.5% to 3% O₂.
