Lincoln SuperGlaze MIG 5356 welding wire is recommended for welding 5XXX and 6XXX alloys. The wire type is ER5356 / S Al 5356 (AlMg5Cr(A)). It is the most commonly used welding alloy. The weld metal is characterized by high strength. The most important applications of wire include shipbuilding, the railway industry, automotive and storage tanks. Welding is performed using a shield of inert gas Ar (100%) or a mixture of argon and helium. The flow is 14.2-23.6 l/min.
