Lincoln LNT Ni2.5 steel rods, type ER80S-Ni2 / W 46 6 2Ni2, have excellent mechanical properties, both after welding and after heat treatment. They have high impact strength at low temperatures (up to -60 ºC after welding and up to -90 ºC after stress relief annealing for 15 hours/580 ºC). They are ideal for steels operating at low temperatures. The most important applications of LNT Ni2.5 rods include frost-resistant steels, pipelines and LNG. Welding takes place in the inert gas shield Ar (100%).
