Lincoln Outershield 81K2-H is a rutile cored wire with the addition of 1.5% Ni, Ti and B, E81T1-K3M-JH4 / T 69 4 Z P M 2 H5 type. It is characterized by uniformity, repeatability and optimal chemical composition. This ensures excellent weldability, low spatter and good appearance of the weld face. It has very good impact strength and mechanical properties (impact strength ISO-V > 80 J to -60°C). Can be used for applications requiring a good CTOD value. Outershield 81K2-H is the best in its class flux-cored wire, ideal for welding wind towers, oil platforms and in construction. Wire welding is performed in almost all welding positions (except vertical from top to bottom) with DC+ current, in a mixture of Ar+ shielding gas (>15-25%) CO2. The flow is 15-25 l/min.
