The welding wire Lincoln LNM 316LSi is a sturdy wire with a high silicon content, designed for welding stainless steel CrNi LNM 316LSi. The type is ER316LSi / G 19 12 3 LSi. It provides an even and consistent weld bead shape and a strong connection, especially in the case of fillet welds. It exhibits high resistance to both pitting and crevice corrosion, caused by reducing acids. It is used for welding steels operating at temperatures up to 400°C. The main applications of this wire include welding pipes, manufacturing steel plates, tanks, and hardfacing. During welding with LNM 316LSi wire, it is recommended to use a shielding gas mixture containing argon ranging from 0.5% to 5% CO₂ or from 0.5% to 3% O₂ as the shielding gas.
