Welding wire Lincoln LNM CuAl8 is used in the automotive industry for brazing zinc-plated/galvanized sheets. The wire type is ERCuAl-A1 / S Cu 6100 (CuAl7). Made of iron-free aluminum bronze, it provides very high corrosion protection in seawater environments and against most acids over a wide range of temperatures. The wire also exhibits high erosion resistance. It is ideal for working with vehicle components and with galvanized steel. Welding with this wire is done using neutral gases such as Ar (100%) or Ar+ 0.5-95% He as shielding.
