Lincoln SuperGlaze MIG 5183 welding wire is ideal for applications where greater strength is required. The wire type ER5183 / S Al 5183 (AlMg4.5Mn0.7(A)). It is intended for welding of 5083 and 5456 alloys. It has excellent corrosion resistance and is perfect for use in the maritime and shipbuilding industries. The most important uses of wire include shipbuilding and repair, low-temperature tanks, shipbuilding, bicycle frames and the railway industry. Wire welding is performed in a shield of inert gases Ar (100%) or mixtures of argon and helium. The flow is 14.2-23.6 l/min.
