Lincoln LNT 316L steel rods, type ER316L / W 19 12 3 L, are characterized by excellent mechanical properties and chemical composition. The weld metal is highly resistant to crevice corrosion and oxidizing acids. The use of LNT 316L rods mainly includes welding or surfacing of steel with identical chemical composition. The most important applications of the rods are pipe welding, work in the petrochemical industry and in nuclear power plants. The welding process takes place in an inert gas shield (Ar 100%).
