Lincoln SuperGlaze TIG 5356 is an aluminum-magnesium wire designed for welding cast and forged aluminum alloys. The rods type is R5356 / S Al 5356 (AlMg5Cr(A). It is recommended for welding 5XXX and 6XXX alloys. After anodizing, the weld made with SuperGlaze TIG 5356 rods obtains an almost identical color to the native material. The bars have clear markings, which enable easy identification. The weld metal is characterized by high strength. The main applications of SuperGlaze TIG 5356 rods are architectural structures, armed vehicles and bases for mounting weapons. Welding takes place in the inert gas shield Ar (100%) or Ar + 0.5-95% He. The flow is 14.2-23.6 l/min.
