Lincoln LNM 347Si welding wire is characterized by high corrosion resistance in contact with liquids, even at temperatures up to 400 °C. It is classified as ER347Si / G 19 9 NbSi. The addition of niobium reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion caused by the precipitation of chromium carbides. The increased silicon content improves the fluidity of the welding bath and its wetting ability, resulting in a smooth and even weld surface. This wire is mainly used in the processing and pharmaceutical industries and in welding stainless steel intended for use at high temperatures. When welding with LNM 309LSi wire, it is recommended to use a gas mixture containing argon with the addition of 0.5%-5% CO₂ or 0.5%-3% O₂ ​​as a shielding gas.
