Lincoln LNT 309L rods, type ER309L / W 23 12 L, can be used for welding clad steels operating at temperatures up to 300 °C. The weld metal contains approximately 12 delta ferrites, which ensures resistance to hot cracking. LNT 309L rods can be used at least for welding pipes, in petrochemistry and in nuclear power plants. Welding takes place in an inert Ar gas shield (100%).
