Lincoln LNT 309L rods, type ER309L / W 23 12 L, are designed for welding clad steels that operate at temperatures up to 300°C. Their composition contains approximately 12% delta ferrite, which provides resistance to cracking at high temperatures. They can be used to weld a variety of structures, including pipes in the petrochemical industry and nuclear power plants. The welding process takes place in a 100% inert gas atmosphere, such as argon (Ar).
